Whats is All School Recess?
All School Recess is a special Gregory Gardens tradition where all students from TK through 5th grade enjoy recess together at the same time. Held on the last Friday of every month from 12:50–1:10 PM, this shared break brings the entire student body together to play, connect, and build school-wide community. It’s a student favorite, kids love the chance to play with siblings and friends from other grades they don’t normally see during recess!
Help Make It Happen: Volunteer as a Playground Monitor
To make All School Recess possible, we rely on the support of fingerprinted volunteers to help safely monitor the playground while teachers use this time for a much-needed 20-minute collaboration session.
Volunteer Details:
📅 When: Last Friday of every month
⏰ Time: 12:50–1:10 PM
📍 Where: Gregory Gardens Playground
Before heading to the blacktop:
✔️Sign in at the school office
✔️Pick up a volunteer vest
